A dual-purpose label does not tell you how a helmet fits, feels, or works with your riding setup.
Features are a starting point
OGK Kabuto’s 2026 GEOSYS-R announcement describes a dual-purpose helmet with adjustable visor positions, ventilation details, and a September 2026 scheduled release. Product claims and availability are specific to that model and market; other helmets may use different designs.
For a road-to-trail helmet, compare the eye opening, visor movement, ventilation controls, goggle compatibility, and the way the helmet feels in your riding posture. Check the maker’s intended use and approval information as well.
Try it with your complete setup
Wear the goggles or eyewear you plan to use and check that they sit comfortably without creating pressure. If you use an intercom, confirm that the speakers fit without disturbing the lining or retention system.
A feature list cannot predict comfort on your head. Try the helmet for several minutes and ask about replacement visors, pads, and service support in your market.
Road-to-trail checks
- Confirm approval for your riding jurisdiction.
- Try the visor, eyewear, and ventilation controls.
- Check intercom fit without modifying the helmet.
- Verify local model availability and replacement parts.
